Probably about 2 miles up, 1 mile right, a mile left and a mile below is water. Enough space where they should use that one spring. I decided to not waste time on it this season, and will check it out next season or whenever I draw again
Im no expert but I think a mile is nothing for a deer to walk for water or food. With 3 solid water sources within relatively close proximity, your trail camera is gonna be your best friend. A buck may only come to that particular spring once a week, maybe more but you cant know for sure until you get some photo history of the spring.
How often would you draw that unit?
Cheers

Oh yeah its nothing. My buck I am hunting this year has 3 other springs he can use within a half or quarter mile. But he sticks to only 1 as his main spring.

So far I have drawn it every year, both in the junior and main draw. It is almost 1-1 odds. About 10 people apply for it first choice over the quota for archery

might snag ya a nice cat off of it too...
Have only seen one cat track in this whole range so far and haven't got them on camera either. So I don't think there is very many if any at all running this range. But one thing is, the fawn numbers are insane. At least 75% of the does had at least 1 fawn. Probably 40-50% had twins and we even saw triplets!
