Don't really like tattoos on women. Wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers.

Perhaps she should have lived by the verbiage in the tattoo, she could've had the courage and wisdom to admit she was wrong and not cover it up!

I watched one of her Limitless shows this week and didn't really understand what was Limitless about the experience. She sat in a tree stand on a private ranch, put in almost no time or effort, missed a big deer's vitals by several feet and then connected with one a couple of days later.

The money she has to spend, that's what is Limitless.
Haven't watched a TV hunting show in almost 7 years.
There is still a few good ones out there I'm sure, but when these jack wads started to look like NASCAR drivers with there sponsors I stopped watching.

Youth and inexperience and the over-enthusiasm and recklessness that sometimes go with them might have something to do with it, if her version turns out to be true.

Learn your hard lessons early. Only problem is, since they're public information, they tend to follow you and cut your opportunities, even more so when you're a public figure. Hopefully, the tough lesson causes her to go from careless to diligent. If that happens, that will be a great thing for her.

Looks! You know, the same reason Stan Potts got his own show. :) But I don't even want to know where his tattoo is....

All kidding aside, it is too bad this happened and that better decisions weren't made.

Ms. Vail pleaded guilty to taking an extra bear without a tag. The court up here went very easy on her in my opinion. The news article said that she's cooperating with the State and may have to pay her way up to Aniak to testify against the guides, if needed. Their case is still pending.

Her sentence;
Probation for a year, $750 and may have to split the statutory value of the bear...$1300 with the guide, if they are convicted. She also forfeited the bear.

I will say that she was hunting an area that has a limit of 2 grizzlies. She messed up for sure but seems to be owning up to it better than some others would, which I applaud her for.

She's owning up to it because she got caught. $1,300.00 is the value of a Grizzly in AK? Seems like she got a wrist slap, and a light one at that.

Thanks for the update. Just didn't really think she was this kind of hunter (unethical) based on her interviews and such. Maybe her true self-worth is coming through.... I hope. Hopefully the guides take responsibility as well. I wonder how much of this was their prodding to begin with,,,not that she should have agreed to go along.
