My father and are are heading to Wyoming zone 90 for the first time next week. Anybody have insight on this zone? Just looking for a place to get started and perhaps some advice on good area to set camp. Thanx Scott
I wouldn't know. 99% of me on this forum is through tapatalk on my phone or iPad. I recommend this app if you have a smartphone or tablet. Makes forums easy.
There is a post on this forum somewhere that a guy was talking about unit 90. I looked back at some of the old posts but couldn't find it for ya. The guy talked alittle about the spots that he hunted and he shot a 160. Sorry wish I could help you more. I think the post was started last spring. Hey I was wandering how many points did you have when you drew your tag?
In my notes I found this posting by Guy Eastman posted in 2011. " It's a really good place to kill a 160-190 desert deer. Lots of country and very limited tags. If they only let you hunt in November it would be perfect. Good luck. -G"
Found that post it's on page 6 of the mule deer section under zone 89. One of the guys talks alittle about hunting GMU 90. Maybe you can contact him though a PM? Hope it helps! Good luck!
Hunted antelope in 74 which is part of the 90 deer area on oct 8-12th . I saw a 24-25 inch 4x3 beside the road with a 22 inch 4x4 buddy. Talked to some elk hunters that saw a few bucks in the 25-28 inch range. I hunted the sourthern past of the unit off the gas hills road. Good luck
