I was hunting antelope in 73 during that wind. Had to turn the truck around and face into the wind in order to safely open the doors.
After that experience, I noticed several local vehicles in Casper with major door and front fender damage from the doors being folded into the front fender from wind.
I've been in tougher wind conditions once in Alaska.
We did kill a couple of does in that wind. Couldn't see them until we started to get into draws and coulees on the sheltered sides. Packed them out on a Yamaha Big Wheel.........it was interesting trying to keep that upright with an antelope on the back in 50mph gusts.
