Congratulations on a nice one. I be hunting just North of there in a few weeks. How are the conditions as far as moisture?
It's been dry pretty much all summer around here. It rained pretty much all day on the 15th, then off and on till about noon on the 16th. I shot this guy and a doe a half mile off the road about 10:30. Just made it back to my RZR (thank God I have a cab and heater) for an hour and wait for a rain/sleet/hail squall to go through. It's supposed to rain for the next three days.
I was sitting in my camper most of the day on the 15th watching the muddy pickups sliding sideways trying to stay on the road. It doesn't take much rain to make a real mess in this country.

Silencerco Omega. One of the better investments I've made. I'm shooting a 270 WSM. Way less kick and way more accurate. My wife prefers to shoot this over her straight 270.
