Wyoming Sheep Hunt

For me it is turkeymares. I have had a tough time with them over the years.

Lol. Guess that is the difference growing up where there is lots of turkeys vs no elk. At least y'all have them now. We won't ever have elk probably...at least not a huntable population.

Josh Martoglio is a sheep nut, and very successfull!!! I have hunted with him and he is great!

Sheep hunt followup! After six days of hunting and frustration, I tagged a medium size ram. It was a back country hunt that was TOUGH on my 68 year old body. Besides getting a sheep, one of the highlights of the hunt was seeing 16 grizzlies in one day! Am planning on putting together a video and will post it when completed.

Fortunately most of the bears were far off. We did get a picture of this one close up:



In my opinion, we are approaching a huntable population in NW Wyoming. Don't know if it will ever happen...but would like to see a limited season.
