I just received my Wyo ORV permit/sticker. It took less than a week to get here (including a holiday). $15.00 and did it online. Don't forget to get the permit if you are using an off road Vehicle.
You can get them locally but why chance it that they might be out when you stop. A lot easier and more convenient to do it on line and be done with it.
Also for those of you that are planning a Colorado trip this year and bringing ATV's you need one from the CP&W to be legal.
If they are illegally riding on public land that is closed and/or regulated to ORVs and you see them, why don't you take a picture of them and report them to USFS or BLM? Just bitching about it doesn't solve the problem or deal with the issue.Actually, I meant outlaw rifing ORVs in the mountains. Places I have fly fished for 22 years for the solitude and relaxation are now overrun with noise, dust and pollution. Not 5 minutes goes by without somebody coming by raping mother nature with them now.

I knew what you meant but thought that I would joke with you for a post or so.Actually, I meant outlaw rifing ORVs in the mountains. I'd get it ahead of time. I called the hotel we stayed at in 2016 before my hunt to make sure they had them before our trip and they assured me I could buy one there. When I arrived at the hotel they had caught a mistake, they had been sent 2017 permits not 2016 permits. They had stopped selling them and were waiting to hear back from fish and game. I ended up driving 90 miles one way to the county seat to get the proper permit and losing a half day of hunting. I learned from that and had been getting them in a big town like Casper on my way in, now I guess I'll start doing it online. Can you buy them somewhere locally or better to get online?
Because the game belongs to the state where as federal land belongs to all citizens and the state has no control over regs other then taxing us for using it.Well hell...why do we need a hunting license to hunt on federal land?
Cowboy was being sarcastic I'm sure.Because the game belongs to the state where as federal land belongs to all citizens and the state has no control over regs other then taxing us for using it.
yep...just my shitty personality!cowboy was being sarcastic i'm sure.
