A rough score was 330. It took 2 shots on both my elk and my sons to keep them down.

Shot with a 300 Win Mag right in the boilermaker ... went down and got right back up ... put another round of the 180 gr. Barnes which kept him down. I really like that all copper bullet.

I agree. I use Barnes X for my 338 ultra mag and I really like the results

When I was sighting in my rifle , the range used tires as a backstop and it was interesting to see the dust fly up after shooting as the Barnes copper 180 graains went right through the tire!! I suspect they also went through the elk my son and I shot .Thanks for the responses on my post. Do want to go back to Wyoming for another hunt once the checkbook gets built up again

We hunted north of Dubois and liked the area except for the grizzlies!!! Way too many bears!!
