Thanks everyone. Not sure on the age or how to find out for that matter. As for deer, I hunted the area pretty dang hard. Eastmans has it as a blue chip are and It shouldn't be. There is a ton of public access but just like anywhere, it isn't where the deer are. All the good land is private and the public access looks like great antelope ground. I probably saw 50 deer in 4 days of all day hunting and 45 were doe. The G&F officer said the deer numbers are way down and that's no lie. It should be a yellow area at best.

That is good to know Kidd. I was considering applying for it this year. I think I'll wait. I got into the same situation in unit 31 NM mule deer a few years ago. Eastman's listed it as a good unit & it was horrible!
