I'd give him more than 13 . Nice ivory tips .
His horns have decent hooks to them so that adds some length . Not a ton of mass.
Decent buck for a second look.

thanks for the info everyone. I guessed him around 14 or 14 1/2. Trying to work on it still.

I would say that buck is just under 13 based on the photos. Diggers are that bucks strong point. Thanks for posting those pics

That photo is deceiving and makes him look a little better than he is. If you look at the front view of that buck (page 1), he looks much smaller. My best guess is he is around 13". One positive trend to the pictures you posted is many bucks with good cutters. I like the gene pool...

I think we're all looking at 2 different bucks. The first pics are a nice young guy, not even 12 inches yet. That second buck looks like the 14 + incher to me.
I've noticed nice cutters around our home area too so maybe a trend this year .

See that now, should have looked closer. He does have curl that goes back you can see in the 2 nd pic that doesn't show really in the first.
I' have to say 14 is way over, 13 looks more like it now.
Good point for getting out the spotter and really looking close.
Nice youngish buck without much mass. Upper prongs above the ears. He has potential.
Nice pics though thanks.

I'm still looking for that 1 in a 1000 buck, but I've only looked over about 40 bucks so far. Here is the best one to date. He is a great looking buck with surprisingly weak cutters, especially on the left side.
I know I shouldn't be counting inches this early in the year, but I'm not sure how much they will grow in the next 2 months.
