hey guys i know im new to this forum and this is my first post but was wondering if anyone had any info on how unit 25 for moose is? I have points to burn and em a wy resident and have info to trade for info, being more or less a once in a lifetime hunt would like to hear others opinions on the area or see some harvest pictures from there or any moose pics on width and what not, never been up close to one so down know the first thing about field judging a shiras, thanks.

I was hunting west of Cody for elk and saw plenty of moose in area 11 in the Sunlight/Crandall area.
Saw a couple that looked awfully nice to me.
Be happy to give any info I could if anyone is thinking of putting in for moose area 11.

I had a 25 tag in 1999. A friend had hunted it several times with others and told me the knob to glass from. Only 45 minutes into the hunt it was over. For the life of me I can't come up with where that spot is.
thanks for the info guys, pretty dead set on 25 ive spent alot of time in the sunlight/crandal creek area and dont really wanna deal with the grizz that bad, im just looking for an average moose i like chasing elk and spending way more time with them. and umpqua hunter thanks for the boost! if im to draw just hoping to fill the freezer then get back to chasing the elk! if you ever wanna swap elk info or anything hit me up id love chase a rosy one day.

I only wish I knew how to kill Rosie bulls consistently. We take a bull here and there but I'ma long way from figuring them out.
