WY Deer 34 and Antelope 73

Thanks UH & Cobb. That's kind of what we were thinking on timing. It sounds like antelope could be done in a day if you weren't picky, but I want to see a few before I pull the trigger.

Only reason we are considering adding on the deer hunt is because of the drive from Houston is a long one. We have 4 points for antelope and should be able to pick from several units in the special draw. We should be able to pick up a deer tag in any region except G in the special draw with no points.

Good luck on your hunt this year Cobb. Reading everyone's hunting stories has me in planning mode for next fall. Its nice to finally have enough points to have some options on where to hunt.

No problem!! I get notifications from here just like a text. So I can usually respond fairly quickly!! I've been super busy training this pup for his upland and duck tests coming up in June.

I hunted unit 74 for goats a few years ago and had a blast. There were goats around every corner. Didn't see any monsters but I did shoot 78" buck. Make sure you take a lot of time to look over a lot of country as you will no doubt see a lot of medium sized bucks, be patient, and have fun!
