Just got home from an amazing adventure in Wyoming. 6 years in the making for this hunt & it was worth it. Saw lots of animals, a few that I'm sure would break 80". A breakdown in the middle of nowhere almot ruined my whole trip but the friendly hard working people of wy. Got me up & running, lost 1 day. Missed a nice one opening morning then took a good one in the afternoon. KIMG1035.jpg

Great buck!
N sounds like a great adventure!
Had a blowout last year, at night, in the middle of nowhere (to me), well outside of Ekalaka Montana. Of course my lug wrench broke on the first nut! No cell signal. Walked out to the county road, stood there for 40 minutes before a car came by. Before I could finish explaining, the lady tells me to sit tight, her husband will be down asap with his service truck. Got me going n wouldn't take a dime. I had tears. I think about that night often. Especially when I glance at my new lug wrench, four way, breaker bar with impact socket, and 2 spares I carry now!

Congrats Husker Hunter! I am going to be heading out in a few days, first time with a buck tag. I would appreciate any advice you could give me. I am not looking for secret hunting spots, I am talking about what to take along and what to leave at home type info. I have a cabin rented for the first couple of nights, then might camp a couple nights just depends on what I am seeing. I am bringing my 9 yr old son so I want to make it a trip he will always remember. thanks in advance!

Doug, I would recommend to cover lots of ground, find antelope in easy to stalk areas. With your son along you might not be able to make stalks as you would alone. I used my 12x50 binos, range finder, GPS, & shooting sticks alot. I forgot sunscreen & chapstick which would of been very nice to have.
