We'll guys thank you for all the advice. I'm going to follow your advice and go for it. I guess with some luck I may be hunting Wyoming twice this year. I will apply for Region G and hunt the bow season. I also took some advice and applied for Unit 67 for antelope with my 6 points. If drawn I will wait until the end of the season and hunt lopes. Thanks again.

Region G deer and Unit 67 antelope…we've gotta get reports this fall. Great choices!

I've got max points on deer also. Still can't decide...... 128?
Honestly there is no good answer for max points at this time. Guys tend to want slam dunk trophy hunt with max points and it's just not there. I thought I found one a couple years ago, burned my points, even the biologist said it will be like "Christmas" when it comes to big bucks. Unfortunately the winter that year had a big impact. I went home with a beautiful mid 160's buck, but not what everyone said could have been had only year earlier.

Two of my sons have max points, but fortunately they can't go on the hunt for a few more years.

My 2 cents. I've talked to a lot of people about this. G is by far the best unit in the state and may be for 5 years. If winter kill happens you may wait 5-10 years for another hunt worthy of max points but at that time everyone will still have banked them . If you want to hunt the best wyoming has to offer then G will more than likely be it and is worth burning the points. 67 is a very good pronghorn tag. Good luck and I would be 100% confident in your decision
