winter kill

so is the western wy winter kill as bad as i hear it is?? going to region G this fall...if there is any deer left...

Not totally sure yet. The G&F is doing their winter mortality study this week over there. The are predicting a bad one though. Cross your fingers. It could be worse than expected.

Right you are Guy, but lets not underestimate "Spring Kill". I just looked out the window here in north central Wyoming, and it's snowing here...5-19-11. I'm sick of the white stuff.

We had a really bad winter in NE montana. Lots of antelope died from getting hit by trains because there was so much snow, it was the only place for them to escape the some snow. Sounds like quotas will get cut big time this year because of it. Hopefully Wyoming faired better than we did.
