I just bought a new swaro 20x60x65 spotter and i bought a vanguard tripod to go along with it. I'm just wondering what people are using and would recommend. thanks in advance!

I use a mini Vanguard tripod that I pack in with that has the window/clasp/flat mount on it. Not sure of the model # and work wont let me on the Vanguard site ( but it will let me get on the EF?) I'd see if they maybe have an adapter that you could attach to the base plate you already have.

I have my tripods set up to take the Outdoorsmans adapters, and have their window mount. I like them best of any I've tried. I can switch quickly between my 15x binos and spotter with them.

The old Cabelas window mounts work well too. I have a Swaro 80mm I seldom use outside the vehicle and I just leave one of those on it.

Keeping all your adapter plates the same is good advise. I run Manfrotto tripod and window mount and love the system. The window mount is the 3130 pan head and the clamp is the 3292 model.

I believe Sworo will attach directly to Manfrotto without the need of any adaptors.

Yeah packer58 that's what cabelas told me when I bought I. Manfrotto was just a bit high for me after watching the bank go down from the swaro. Maybe in the future I'll switch to the manfrotto in the future. But thanks everyone for the advice!

Packer is right on. That's what I run. Manfrotto 3130 pan head, Bogen 3292 window clamp. Ridiculously smooth window mount.
