Good luck, Umpqua!!! Lotsa bull elk in unit 61 (but that was in 2005 when I was Muley hunting with the muzzleloader and packing a cow elk tag. Got the cow 2nd day and hunted Muley for the remainder of the time. Drew a blank on a shootable Muley but oh the bull elk I was stumbling over in the meantime makes me lose sleep to this day!) The one thing to keep in mind is not to shoot a lesser bull early in the hunt thinking it is apt to be the only bull you will see. It ain't gonna happen in 61...at one time I was glassing four bulls that were all shooters and each of them was heading for a bull bugling with a whole herd of cows in tow. A 360-bull is not out of reason! Again, good luck!
