Having Email on my phone is awesome.

the apps I can kinda take or leave.

of course all these alerts to babes swiping right to me all the time do get annoying, I usually run my phone on silent.

the smart phone can actually be a pretty useful tool. I am a winter freak. so the snotel app is nice to have. Instead of asking on a forum how much snow Wyoming has, I can look and see that they have more snow than last year, but not as much as north Idaho.

Being a teacher for the past 24 yrs, i can tell you I've seen vast changes over that time.
I associate kids and their cell phones to a heroin addict to heroin. It's that bad.

I don't even own a cell phone of any kind. As for the phone enabling you to learn about animals and hunting opportunities, well gosh, nobody was ever able to do any of that until these phones came about. Why in 1975 I thought the whole world was just like my neighborhood, I had no idea that there were other places with different kinds of animals and such.

Back in the day they actually taught you about the world in school and if you wanted more information you could go to a place called a library and read about anything that interested you. In fact, a lot of people bought a set of books called an encyclopedia as a resource for learning about the world and history. :p
