Friday left for a 5 day vacay with my wife and kids and my parents and siblings. So was pack drive and set up popup

Saturday.
Muggy hot nasty. Luckily we were by lake michigan only few miles away so hit the beach and swam.

Sunday

Moved to a new sites as my parents were staying a week and a half at the campground and had split availability for sites. Then went swimming again. Also went for a short bike ride with the wife.

Monday

Played a round of golf with my dad and uncle. And went on a walk with the dogs

Tuesday

Packed up, drove home, set up camper to unpack it and get resettled in. Then had to fix one of the toliets cause the handle broke off.

Hit 14k steps or more everyday on vacation. With one 20k step day. My 2 and 4 year old kept me running around the whole time. Had my running stuff with me but never fit it in with all the stuff we were doing and the heat and humidity. Got the relay for life 5k race this Sunday. That im feeling very unprepared for.

Spent the last 12 days hiking in Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Sequoia, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, Colorado National Monument, and Rocky Mountain National parks.

Show us the BC (bicycle club) tattoo when you get it... Sounds like a good opportunity to ride.

Accomplished a lot of good exercise today. More importantly, was issued an FAA First Class Medical Certificate this afternoon. Notified my employer that I am ready to return to work.

Down at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Enjoying life. Eight miles and 17K steps so far. Did the 2-mile walk and 20-minutes on the elliptical at home prior to driving down here.

Turned out to be 18.5K steps yesterday, and 15K so far today. The walking path along Broadmoor Lake is 3/4 of a mile long. Went around it a few times. Did not go for the breakfast buffet this AM, but gave it a good stare down..

Traded Idaho a general deer tag for two controlled hunt deer tags today. I have two deer tags in Idaho this year, one deer tag and one elk tag in Colorado. That is why I passed on the buffet. Hopefully, lots of steps this Fall.
