Turns out that 3 Dr. Peppers and a bag of snickers do not help you while working out. I worked out for an hour last night and I could feel that my sugar intake had been way too high for a few days.

Rode recumbent bike 50 mins on pikes peak setting got 17.85 miles

Planing on going for a run tomorrow be first one since my race the week plus off has helped my leg. Been pain free for 5 days now. Thinking of doing one more race for the year but not sure yet havent fully decided

Play it safe Marcus and good luck.
Yeah i mean i was like a muscle pull or something but i wasnt able to give it the rest it needed cause it happened like days before the firsr race of that back to back weekends. I could feel on days i didnt run that it felt better so figured the break was needed and been going harder on the other cardio and more strength training to try and boost the muscles around it.

Just finished up a run felt good backed it down a hare on the pace from my 9 flat pace since i had not run in over a week.

Heading out for round two of elk hunting today. 4.5 miles in with a relatively small elevation gain considering the country.

Should be fun, but the bears have been very active which could make things a little bit challenging.
