Thanks man definitely feeling better. Have an appointment on friday with one of the dr from my surgeons office for my 6 month check up. Just did my blood work and vitmans and every thing look good from the result posting cholesterol jumped from 123 to 172 but I was taken off my med 3 months ago and some of the increase was a jump of 10 points in my good cholesterol. Really want to hit a long trail ride on the bike but it's been 90-97 for 7 days so far and calling for 4 more days of it. Not really the temps I want for trying my first longer trail ride
Been hot here too. We took off early for our long bike ride the other day, before it got hot.

Yeah I'm looking at a 43 mile stretch of trail one way. I'd need the wife to drop me off at the start point and dont think she wants to be up supper early to help me beat the heat lol

Anywhere to camp at the start point? Could get dropped off the night before, then you could take off in the morning whenever you'd like.

I started my first day of "pack training" to prep for my WY deer hunt in Sept. Starting off easy with just a two mile fast walk, and will add distance and pack weight as I go forward. I think that I burned about 100 calories on the walk, and about 200 swatting mosquitos.

I learned from my "mosquito fest" hike the other day, and yesterday started my walk out on a road where the sun and wind could keep them at bay. It didn't help much with the flies though. Anyway, I did get in a speed hike with a 17# pack. Will up the weight a few # and head out after my morning exercises.

1 1\2 hour round trip from the truck to the cam.
when i got to the cam, i saw it was pointed in a different direction than i placed it.
one of the pictures shows why. dang bear. pretty cool to get it scratching its back.
