Welp, I hung it up for the year despite a short muzzle loader season coming up. I don't like to put any pressure on them this late in the year on the place to let them just sit and get fat. My target buck is still very much alive and kicking. He broke off a g4 at some point.

Still there..last pic I got of him was 1/20 though, but that's good. He needed to quit ranging as far and fatten up.

Just some others

6 point is going to die of old age.

The 6pt did NOT die of old age. He's just a really ugly 5pt this year.

And the old buck looks like a brahma. I keep thinking age will take its toll on his body, but I guess not.

Also had one get hit by a truck last year and total it out. He had a bad abscess for a few months, but he seems to have bounced back and doing great.

Picky. I did 12hr sits in the climber that entire last week trying to make something happen. I saw a lot of bucks..a lot of hogs, but not the one I was looking for during daylight hours. I had what I was looking for 40yds from me working a scrape 20 minutes before daylight on 12/29. (If you look at post #61, that buck got another year older and exploded with big G2 splits...I'm not putting that one on the interwebs)

That bobcat was <5yds and didn't seem bothered by me or the shutter. I really only took the camera up until Thanksgiving and then I got serious about pulling the trigger.
