Long story short hunted this buck 18 days and missed him on day 12. Mostly glassing waiting on right time and wind for early season. Its roller coaster hunt for sure. Drove ten of 12 hours towards house after miss when I turned around went straight back and glasses him that evening. Its 5 days later before I killed him in the beans on the ground at 15 yards. Deer weighed 320lb on hoof 6half year old grossed 167 42in mass. <br />

The next buck was in rut mid November was hunting few studs but two of the biggest I've ever hunted. Never seen them on the hoof but once after killed. Had this huge eight get under my skin thats very impressive. I started hunting him hard and one evening again on ground spotted him with doe. Thought he'd broken g2 since day before cause hes so wide. Long story short I thought new gone and last light he comes in 10 yards from me and shot him. When got to him hes not the big eight but a giant 3 year old 160 if g2 not broken. Hes a great deer but sick over killing young buck with so many shooters around. I don't get fooled on deer much but this one absolutely fooled me as he resembled big eight and had never seen him before.
