What would be your dream hunt?

A hunt for a big bull elk is way up on my list! I've never been interested in Africa. A red stag in New Zealand would be fun too!

Rich, this is a totally affordable and doable hunt. You can beat the crowds by saving up some points for a limited hunt. Just do your research and find an area with sufficient antelope numbers, reasonable access, and limited tags. I only have experience with one unit, and only had one buck tag, but have gone back a number of times with doe tags while building points. We seldom saw anyone, and no one at all if we chose to walk in a ways.

Working on it. We are buying Point No. 2 right now, so have maybe 4 or 5 years to go. I doubt my father will go this time but us 50 & 60-somethings will sure give it a run.

In between now and then, it'll be back to CO so buddy can land his mule deer. Maybe 2022. We've already got the necessary points for this hunt.
