Since we are about to get caught up in the big game politics season I thought it would be good to start a thread of some of the things we are thankful for in the hunting world. I can start.

1. I live in a state that somehow manages to keep opportunity and trophy quality high!

2. Public land that I can enjoy every year.

3. Community of guys like what we have here.

6. Jesus Christ, our savior
7. Family and friends (at home and within the Eastman Community)
8. Greatest Nation on earth (at least for a bit longer)
9. All the great hunting opportunities that fuel my passion

My health! Older sister (53) has multiple sclerosis, but she's managing it well. Younger brother (47) has had back surgery and partially torn patella tendon. Dad (76) has epilepsy, but manages it well. Mom died of cancer in 2013.

I am so thankful that my joints don't hurt, no major injuries or problems...and can hunt hard. Life is good!
