I am struggling with favorites, because honestly....this has made me realize how little I took pictures for some of the best hunts of my life!!!!
We documented this one very well....

Camera's were a big problem when I was growing up and first started hunting.

Camera's were expensive and pretty much left at home instead of throwing them into the backpack (which none of us had) or hung by the strap around our necks. On the backpacks, all we did was to open a button or two on our shirts and throw in a couple of sandwitches and a apple or two and then rebuttoned it.

My favorite would have to be my first year hunting and staying at camp. Driving swamps for whitetail with all my brothers was an absolute blast. More of a meat hunt but the funnest times I have had in the outdoors. Second would have to be hunting deer/elk in the Frank Church, I fell in love with that country.

Here is another hunt that is a favorite. A friend and I had one of the snowiest hunts that I have ever been on but it was the first time a friend from work and I had hunted together. Killed my bull on the first night and he killed a cow the next morning. We packed a lot of elk that short hunt but the memories were beyond worth it.

My favorite hunt would be when I was finally old enough to gun hunt deer in Michigan. My dad and I set up in separate spots and at 9am he came and got me because he had already shot 2 bucks and had seen a bunch of does, I hadn't seen anything yet so we went back to his spot and a couple hours later I shot my first deer. It was just a doe but it might as well have been a 30 pointer I was so excited. Ive had a lot of good hunts with my dad since then that ill never forget, my kids are just getting to the age where they can go and sit with me and my dad is still hunting hard so a lot more memories to come im sure.
