What do you think he scores?

Nice looking buck Kevin! Hmmm...no way to score him in that pic. Looks like some nice mass overall, and maybe some trash on that left antler. Could be only a 3 point on the right antler. Eye guards are killer and nice long main beams. He is not terribly wide, but I think width is overrated. My best buck ever was 183 and only had a 24" spread. Gorgeous buck, particularly in California. I'll bet he's over 180 gross.

Any more pics Kevin? We need to see the forks. A few things are apparent though. His inside spread is tight, somewhere in the 15 to 17 inch range. He is also making up some ground on the G1s, as they are above average. Looks like good mass on that deer as well.

First impressions are good with this guy.

That's the sad part I don't have any other picture views, side, points, ect.... of him, and this one even is a bit fuzzy pict. Some of the tines did look pretty good for a California Sierra mountain buck and his mass was not all half bad for CA that is. Seeing him in hunting season and getting the X zone tag would be the next challenge. :D

Very nice buck kevin, I'd be happy with that 1 any day of the week, especially here in california. Wish you luck on drawing and finding him again. Great photo thanks for sharing

Great buck. We could all guess on score but with out more pics it would be hard to get it close.

Yep, agreed. It's hard to score without more pictures or views. Fun to look at all the same. Guess I'm getting eager to see if I'm fortunate enough to pull the zone here in CA and or just get up into the mountains.

Here's another buck from a picture a few years back. This one was Northern CA in the Lassen Foothills. Difference between the two is the top one is a Public Land Buck and this one below is off a hunting lease, private land that to my knowledge nobody tagged the year the picture was taken.

I'm kind of partial to the public land buck, just because it's public land :).

Thats a nice buck, my guess from what I can see would be high 150-160. Looks like he has four points on the right side and five on the left.

Kevin, just curious what month that pic was taken. That deer is a toad and if it was even close to hunting season, your lucky he stood there for a picture.
It was taken from a friend I know who runs a pack station here in CA. It was taken last year, but he said they never saw him after that picture day. I'm seeing some nice bucks in his zones. He runs out of X8 and X12.
