2012 Toyota Tundra TRD. Been a great truck so far. I had a 2006 F-150 before and although it was a dependable truck I thought the front end was a bit flimsy and I get the same mileage with my Tundra but 80 more horse and 40 more lbs/ft of torque.

1996 Powerstroke that just turned 340K! I got it when it was totaled at 225K and fixed it. Still going strong and my cousin that had it is on his 3rd new truck since he wrecked it.

2014 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab for me. I've been really pleased with it so far! 19 MPG anywhere I go and it drives great.

Suffered thru about 8 years of repair bills on a Dodge 2500 Quad Cab before that....man I was glad to dump that thing. Now when I see somebody driving a new Dodge I just feel sorry for them.

2000 F-250 Super Duty 4X4 w/7.3L Powerstroke. Only have 95K miles on it and the only issue was the 4R100 tranny overheating. After researching issue, found they only put a 1/2 ton tranny cooler in it. Replaced with a 1 ton cooler and gauged the tranny temp, EGT, and turbo boost. Had the tranny rebuilt at 90K which included 12+ upgrades and heavy duty torque converter. Do some towing with a heavy boat in the summer but during hunting season tow a 5' x 10' trailer with ATV, wall tent and all camping gear. This truck was only around $30K off the lot new in Nov 99 and it will be a cold day in Hades before I spend $55K+ for a new one. This one is taking me all the way to the marble orchard!

Dodge will last until you are tired of it. Dodge does not ride as good as ford but out drives and out handles the rest plus it has brakes. I quit GM because of wipers that kept going one more time after being turned off and they had no brakes. I have a Dodge 2500 07 cummins set at 395 hp. It only takes four minutes to go to 535HP.Transmission won't stand it, it smokes some now but that's ok, anything to drive the enviros nuts. Fuel mileage is good at true 23, after market tuning company shows up to 26mpg, had me believing it for a while. Big time fun to drive. I also have an 02 f150 super crew fx-4 with near 200,000, still a very good truck that goes well in the back country. A setup 99 Grand Cherokee, v-8, 247 transfer and three sets of tires and wheels, getting near 200,000.

Right now my rig is my 1993 Honda Accord!! Daily driver and I guess it will be my hunting rig this fall?? Traded my 04 Chevy Silverado on a Honda van for the family this year. Truck needed to go as was developing transmission issues. Cant afford a hunting rig right now. Always have had Chevy trucks but not real sure about them anymore. I grew up hating Fords:confused:. I think all trucks can have there place and everyone has their own likes n dislikes. I am afraid I may have to go against my upbringing and buy something other than a Chevy product;). Not looking now though so we will see what the future brings!!

2012 Ram 2500 MegaCab right now, but i'm normally a Chevy guy. My last Duramax wouldn't pull anything without going into reduced power mode and the dealer couldn't fix it so i gave Dodge a try, real nice truck but it is heavy for off roading and isn't as comfortable or ride as good as my Chevy's did.

2006 toyota.......Corolla. 222000 miles and still going strong. Gets 35+ mpg and if I pull the back seat out I can get all my gear inside and still see out the back window. I do have a Yakima roof rack as well and throw a bunch of stuff on top when necessary. Got rid of my old '96 silverado a few years ago and have hunted with the toyota ever since.

My wife has a 2014 4WD Hemi Durango but is the RT. Don't think she would like it if I tore off all the fascia taking it off road.

Daughter has 2 more years of college to go, then it is my turn.

My son just finished his freshman year, amazing how much college costs these days. I earned two BS degress (all 6 years) cheaper than it cost for his freshman year. To be fair, I commuted from home and he lives in the dorm; so alot of the bill is for the room and food. Thats why I'm still driving my POS 2003 silverado.
