Just checking out the drawing odds for moose.. hard to believe but someone used 14 preference points on a cow moose tag in area 38. Several bull tags went for 13 points in other areas.

Not hard to believe, depending on the hunter's age. The areas that required only 13 points probably were the ones with poor access.
More than likely that 14 points draw was a second choice.

There are several areas that can be drawn with 13 points that have excellent access.

I've noticed things like that before too, Hilltop. It's hard to understand why someone would do that.

There were a couple people with 19 that applied for cow moose tags. I'm not sure if you can put a second choice down or not, but it wouldn't do you any good cause all of the tags are taken up in the first drawing anyhow.
