I got real lucky and after 19 yrs of applying, I drew a CA bighorn tag in WA in an area with only one permit. I scouted for two days last weekend and spotted 22 different rams. I hope to break the 170 inch mark and maybe write a story for Eastman's mag.

Thanks guys. I have to go work in AK for 4 weeks this summer and will miss that time scouting. Its about a 3.5 hr trip to get to my area to scout. Last years sheep hunter has a summer place up that way and has the sheep fever real bad. He told me he plans to do some scouting for me to get some photos and spotting locations. What a favor and I never even asked him for any help. Now I have to learn to tell a mid 160's sheep for a mid 170 sheep. I have a lot to learn yetDSCF1093.jpg
