Very nice! That's a bummer about him rolling off the cliff, but it didn't look like any of the tines broke. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks.

The four inch kicker off his left side broke off, but through some miracle we found it in the rockslide. My taxi is fixing the tine, and putting synthetic velvet on. Should look like pre-fall.

Don't know if you noticed, but I was rockin' the Eastman's cap. It's my lucky hat.

Btw, nice hat!
Hey how far was the telephoto through your razor? Also what zoom power? Thanks bitterroot. Again, nice video.
The telephoto shots ranged from 335 yards (the shot) to 900 yards (live footage). The eyepiece was on 20x for most of the shots, but was occasionally turned up to around 40x. The camera zoom was 2x-4x typically

Thanks again for all of the great info BB. If you make it to Bazeman for the game on the 3rd let me know and maybe we could grab a beer.

Thanks for the positive responses!

I was shooting my backpacking setup: Remington model 7 7mm-08 with Douglas barrel and Timney trigger (work by Dan Coffin of Victor, MT). Scope is a Vortex Viper 2-7X32 w/ BDC reticle. Leupold PRW rings and bases. Load is a 140 gr. Barnes TTSX over Winchester 760. Muzzle Velocity is 2840 fps.

Big Sky, it depends if my Dad can find an extra ticket. If he does, I will send you a PM.

That was awesome footage, made for some great video, but sucked for you and his velvet. It's always great to see someone earn it the DIY way. Thanks for sharing Bitterroot!
