Ok guys I've got a couple of nice flank steaks off my buck this year so should I just throw it into the grind or try and make some actual flank steak recipe like fajitas or something.
This is the first time I saved them.
I've used 2 of mine from a cow elk this year fried in a cast iron skillet on medium-low heat with butter, and lots of onions, peppers, and mushrooms. The other 2 will succumb to the same fate...
Suggest a light marinade for just a few hours and make into fajitas; grill or cast iron, either way, it will be awesome! Serve with a side of guac, ranch beans, green chile, some cold beer. [emoji266]
We did 1 in Frahitas in the pan who then finished on the grill-- really good --- and also wife did one in the insta pot and then we had like a french dip. They just looked too good to grind this year -
