You have luck on your side.

When I drew mine I had 15 points which were max, I had max points the year before at 14 points but didn't luck out in the draw.

Well if you want to talk to someone lucky - I am the only NR to draw the Book Cliffs any weapon/any season tag for 2023 (and I don't want to tell you how many points I had). Curious on any info to get started - but yes, I can hunt archery, muzzy and rifle.

Let's see, you had 8 points and the way that Utah's system works is that with only 1 tag available everyone went into a random draw, you just had a few more chances than those with lesser points and less chances than those with more.

The way that my luck goes I have another dozen years before I draw my muzzle loader tag out there again.
