Dustin, that is exactly what I was getting at when I started this thread. On other sites, it is fairly simple, you just attach photos from your laptop. Not sure if my photo files are too large since most were taken with a digital camera rather than a cell phone, but it doesn't seem to matter on other sites. Go figure.

This would be for Scott to answer. Way over my head but I don't think it's difficult to post with Tapatalk IMO.

It?s actually really simple. I think there is one click button that seems to be the problem.

Very fast Instructions.

1. Use the photo icon from the menu bar.
2. Insert image URL from your photo hosting service.
3. Uncheck the little blue box for remote hosting.
4. Enjoy posting your pictures on the forum inside of whichever thread you choose.

If you have the pictures in a email you will need to download them to your computer. I would just save them in a file on the desktop.

Then to upload them to the forum here click on the box that says "Insert Image" when you hover over it. Click on "From Computer" and then click on "Browse"

Find the photo in the new file that is on the desktop and double click the photo that you would like to post. Then click on "Upload Files" and it will then transfer to the post that you are making.

This will post the picture in the thread as a thumbnail that we can then click on to see a larger image of it. If you want to post larger photos then you need to use a photo hosting site that allows third party hosting and then go through a little different process.

If you are old school and don't have a smart phone and depend on a computer Tapatalk won't work.

I'm still using a flip phone. It does all I need a phone to do costing a lot less.
Understood. The smart devices are where the world has moved to but sometimes I miss my pager!

I agree that smart devises are going to be the future but I am still one that can disconnect from all modern conveniences and enjoy life.

I am about to do just that when I head out on my coues hunt. The only modern devises that I will have with me will be the better scope on my rifle, range finder in my pocket, and binoculars. No cell phone, or computer for the duration of the hunt. At night we will sit around a old campfire location and actually talk to each other before heading off to bed.

I finally figured out which link to use on IMGUR to post pics that are not thumbnails. I'm one of those old guys who still takes pics on a digital camera and then transfers them to a computer. Every so often I burn them onto a disk.
My question to you guys that use a smartphone and might have hundreds of pics on it, does it ever get full? What happens if your phone gets destroyed of lost? Are all the pics gone forever?
Ahh... the good old days of going through a box full of actual pics from way back when.

I'm with you and the digital camera and uploading them to a computer and then to a disk.

I have a friend that lost her "smart phone" and all of the hundreds of pictures on it. She was more mad at loosing the pictures than the phone itself even if it was a $700 phone. And yes the memory isn't infinite it will fill up where you will need to either get rid of some or all one way or another.
