Unit 125 Wyoming mule deer

Looking for any info that someone can give me on this hunt. I drew and it conflicts with a Nevada elk hunt I drew and may only be able to go for a few days . Input?

I have never hunted that unit, but I think it is a Nov 1-15 season. Great harvest statistics there. With those dates, hunt that as late as you can, to best catch the rut. The last 3-4 days are most likely going to be your money days.

i've never hunted deer in that unit but i've spent a lot of time trapping and coyote hunting in that area. i've seen a couple bruisers in there, and the ones i've seen haven't been too far from the highway. all the deer i've seen in that unit have been within a mile or two of the canal (eastern boundary). they like to hang out right by the canal, where the land is choked with russian olives. i'd think your best bet would be to check out five mile creek. there's a lot of deer activity near the conjecture of the creek and canal and you should be offered several vantage points to glass. good luck.
