Under Armour

I guess it should be undees, idk, anyway, I was wondering what underwear you all use for being in the high country hunting/hiking or anywhere for that matter. I have been looking at different companies like REI, Smartwool, Under Armour, etc. I have bought some sports ones from adidas & nike but wasn't too crazy about em. I saw a thread for base layers but didn't see anything for underwear. Thanks
I used to wear a really great set of boxer briefs from Cabelas, synthetic, with an odor eliminator, but they discontinued them. I have been happy with the wicking of UA, but they do tend to stink after a couple days, gonna try the Merino route like I do with my upper bod. I use a synthetic top for the pack in, as it wicks better than merino, then hunt in merino, as it is slower paced than the hard climb in.

First Lite for me too. Never had a problem with chafing wearing them because they don't hold the moisture from the sweat.

I've gone hiking with regular cotton skivvies and I swear I don't know guys can even walk after a day in those. Maybe they don't sweat like I do. Maybe the Monkey Butt or Gold Bond does the trick, but I'll just skip that and stick with what works for me.

All I wear are Hanes boxer briefs and I'd hate to try and think of how many miles I have put on wearing them. Both in the desert of Arizona to elk hunting in Colorado and Utah not to mention a trip over to Africa.

Never have had a problem with them.

I got some synthetic ones I've bought over the years I'll wear for work or hunting when I only plan to get one day out of them before washing them. I have several brands I've picked up on Camofire for a discount and all work well.

I tried some merino Core 4 Element boxers and they were a bit to itchy for me, never really got to liking them. I recently bought a pair of the First Lite merino boxers and I love them. The comfort and odor control are great, I used them on more conditioning hikes before washing them than I'd care to admit just to test them. I wanted to see how they really worked before deciding how many pairs I need for the 10 day moose hunt next year. The First Lite merino T shirt is great too. I want to try their Aerowool version also, and then I'll buy a couple more of whichever version I like better. I had a hard time believing how much better merino was at scent control than synthetic until I tried them myself.

I'm in FL and am usually soaked in the first 20 minutes of activity. I have several pair of Hanes synthetic X temp boxers and they wick pretty good.

Wearing cotton is an absolute nightmare - just being wet all day... I don't get monkey butt - inside my legs get raw - the long boxers help keep this from happening.

Use Desitin for rashes - it is in the baby section. Not a miracle but will heal the raw up faster than anything else I've used.

Under armor are my go to. I like the O series 6" boxer briefs, they are very breathable and stay in place.

FL and Sitka have gone through the paces for me. I have been happy with both.
