One of the person involved Cody Plagmann has had alot of problems with the law and quite a few felonies. Plagmann will be in jail for a long time for having a firearm.

Like I said on another post, if you had to be smart to be a poacher there would be a lot less of them. This is such a waste of a noble animal, they deserved better and the poachers deserve the worst!!!!

You rarely hear about the smart ones getting caught.
Sooner or later even the smarter ones screw up and get caught.

I don't remember his name but he was from around Montrose, Colorado back in the 70's and early 80's and was killing huge book mule deer with every shot that he took. He was figured to be one of the best at finding trophy animals, but guess what? They found out that the vast majority of the bucks that he killed if not all of them were poached.

I'm going to have to do some searches and see if I can remember his name and what ended up going on with him

I just did a search and came up with Kirt Darner but it seams like there was another one but that name sounds familiar.
Here is the link to the story on him.

He wasn't too smart, but you're right. Eventually greed or a need for recognition catches up with folks.

Ever time I travel this stretch of road we are always looking for these sheep. Been fishing in Astoria for years now we travel this section of road at least once a year maybe twice always look for these sheep when we pass through. I am with everyone else on the comments that should be done to these guys. Makes me fighting mad to see two dirt bags like these guys take the opportunity away from someone to legally hunt these sheep. kudos though to the people that turned them in I would like to buy them a beer and dinner and shake there hand.
