I have a couple of Browning's.

I hope that they have the interface between the camera and a smartphone fix from the ones that I have. On mine you have to sync the camera and the phone a dozen times before it actually works. My big problem is that Browning know about the problem but hasn't came up with a update to fix the problem.

Stay away from Moultre (sp) Unless they have taken care of it their customer service is the worst in the industry. They were some of the first ones that I purchased. Their customer service basically told me that the problems that I had with them were my problem. The screen died and no replacement was available, loosing memory, and other problems. It takes a good picture but that is about it.

What about Stealth Cam and Cuddeback? I know for awhile Stealth cam was hit or miss on cameras, have they got any better?

I have used a couple of Spypoints recently. Have a few more that I am going to test this summer, I have plans to figure out a couple of travel corridors for deer.

Go onto Brownings web site and sign up for their junk mail. They run sales throughout the year with good prices on their cameras.

Yay, more crap in my email 😂. Thanks for the tip. I’ve been watching camofire, that’s why I was curious about the stealth cams.

Sorry for the short replies. Responding from my phone.

We have owned about every brand of trail camera over the last 25 years.
Browning are the only cameras that hold up to our needs that we have tried so far.

Battery life is great. (Lasts all season)
Photo quality is good.
Good waterproof design.
Good range detection.
Easy to mount to a tree with a good strap that comes with them.

More importantly, the way you set them up is simple and very easy. Even my FIL can set them up.

We (ME-FIL-WIFE-HER UNCLE) run about browning 50 cameras every year and we have phased out (almost) all of the other we have. If I put cameras up on public land (Rare that I do) I put up a junk camera. We have phased almost all of the cameras out. I got 4 more for Christmas last year. Thats all I ask for every year is trail cameras. One more year of cameras and I should be good for a while.

Out of all of the cameras we run, we have had just 1 browning crap out on us. Should have sent it back because it was brand new but we just threw it in the trash.

Best of luck in whatever you decide.

I've owned primos, stealth, bushnell, spypoint, moultrie, and probably more. Can't recommend any of them. I have heard good things about Browning so going to try one of those. I'd really like to have just one brand (or one interface) to simplify stuff.

Is there a brand that allows configuration via a phone app that connects to the camera through a bluetooth connection? That would be the best.

Browning does, at least mine does but there is a problem with the app that you install on your phone where it takes a number of tries before they link together. But once connected it works quite well.

I'm not sure if they have fixed the problem yet or not. My camera is 4 or 5 years old.

Are you able to pull the pictures with the app?

You can view the pictures on the app along with any video that is shot.

I haven't gone through it to transfer them to my laptop or send them in a email yet but I am sure that it is fairly easy.

Just talked with a landowner in my WT area, he gave me the green light to start placing trail cams in mid to late July! I'm excited.

Now to place them in a couple spots to dial in the sensitivity so I burn through memory cards like a banshee. The spot I will place them is a little further away than last year's location.
