I faced this dilemma this week. There was a group of 5 baby skunks in my yard. It was a though decision but between turning the AR loose and traps I don't think I will be washing the dogs nearly as often.
Those are way too young, don't think I could do it either. Not sure when coyotes have the pups, but these ones were pretty big. Should of taken pictures.i didn't have the heart to dispatch these pups, there were 8 of them. (I only had my bow)Then after I got back to my truck I thought, that was $400.00 in bounty money.

Mr. AR-15 is your friend. Let him help you eliminate those future fawn killing machines. Kill them all, coyotes are not cuddly and lovable...they are evil and must be destroyed! If you come to a coyote den along side the road with 5 pups playing cluelessly in the creek bottom below, do you try to wipe them out or let them grow?
I would never think twice about skunks, raccoons and prairie dogs. They all carry the plague and rabies.I faced this dilemma this week. There was a group of 5 baby skunks in my yard. I don't know my dog stages, but I would guess they were closer to the adolescent stage than the pup stage.I love putting cable on those dogs but I couldn't kill the pups. Something about being young and borderline helpless. Adult or even adolescent dogs have their survival skills, but pups? If it was a ranch or farm where I was tasked with thinning them though, they'd have to go.
