Wyoming was kind enough to already give me a bull elk tag. Now I'm hoping they will send antelope tags for me and my grandpaw as well. He has a new rifle on order from nosler, and I can't wait to watch him wear the new off of it on some speed goats!

We held off of the deer tags this year because my elk tag is for the type 2 Nov. season. Can't have to many irons in the fire at one time i suppose, but I know we'll see plenty of stud bucks bouncing around. They can tell what kind of tag is in your pocket most of the time.

No luck in the nr elk draw. Hoping to use up my 3 antelope points and 2 deer points on a combo hunt around November 1.
The picture is from last October with my wife and pup packing out a cow elk. I'd been in trouble if truck wasn't so close.

Deer tag for me, hoping for 2nd choice although it would be nice to draw 102 but I doubt that will happen.
The late deadline this year sure makes waiting for the draw a lot easier!

Four of us Illinoisans put in as a group for central Wyoming buck and doe antelope tags. Should be a sure draw but you never know!!

Should have enough points to get drawn for antelope with my uncle. Going to be the first time hunting Wyoming.

I'm in for everything like usual; including cows and does.

Got really lucky and drew them all last year so I shouldn't be too sad if I get nothing this year.

I'll have to find my pictures and post them later.

There are plenty to choose from but, like anything else, some of the best ones will go in the draw.

Doe antelope in area 67 for example; 22% draw odds last year.
My issue is that there are only two of us to eat it right now. If I were to kill an elk and a deer we would struggle to finish it all off.

4 of us in are house, got an elk, deer, 2 antelope, and passed on the opportunity to fill my second elk tag. Wish I would have filled it now, might have 20 pounds left in the freezer from what I did bring home.

If/When I am in a situation where I think I may have to much meat I turn the extra into sausage it keeps longer and my relatives like to get some each Christmas. They are disappointed the years when they come over and I was wasn't successful. I personally like the sausage from Big Horn Meats in Buffalo.
