Just started a pot of taco soup, made with elk burger made it up as i went so we'll see how it tastes.

Elk fajitas.
1 pound elk steak scraps
1 bell pepper
1 red onion
2 Roma tomatoes
1/4 cup taco seasoning
I don't use a shell, we crush a handful or two of Doritos over the top.

Deep fried pheasant. So good! I have a deer tag that I've been putting off so I can fill my freezer with as many pheasants as I can. Come December 1st the deer hunt is on!

Love me some pheasant rolled in instant mashed potatoes and fried up. I've heard corn flakes are good to use as breading but I've never tried them

I'll have to try the fried pheasant rolled in instant mash potatoes. We will be pheasant hunting in Ca this weekend.

Smoked salmon today.
Ground Jalapeno, honey, soy sauce, salt, and brown sugar.
Bit of spice, with some smokey sweet.
