I guess its easy to monday morning quarterback, but 3 chances at the one yard line with Marshawn Lynch? Come on, thats a gimme!

Pete is a cocky coach and wanted to show off. He came out on top at the end of the first half with the gutsy call, but cost him the game the 2nd time around. Go Pats.
(I still question the hawks 1st First down, I think the receiver was short on 3rd and long and it later lead to a TD)

That play was a really good spot from the ref.

I agree with this, but he is also a very good coach and surrounds himself with equally good coaches. He has a way of inspiring his players and his enthusiastic attitude rubs off on them.

I followed him closely when he was coach at USC as I am a huge USC booster as I played there in the late 50's/early 60's. He has a history of taking chances and going against the odds, like playing on 4th down instead of punting. It was really a good game, much better than the blowout against the Broncos last year.

The strangest thing to me was that the end was pretty much as predicted in the Madden Bowl. Seahawks ahead 24 to 14 in the 3rd quarter, and the Pats will win it 28 to 24. The best part was I won the Super Bowl board where my wife works. It sure made the game a lot more interesting during the last couple minutes. That $500 was going to someone else if the Seahawks scored, and it was looking like a slam dunk. OOPS!

I don't think Seattle could have gotten off 3 running plays with only 1 time out left, so I don't have a problem with calling one pass, as either they score or its incomplete and the clock stops allowing for 2 runs, but I do have a problem with calling a quick pass over the middle into traffic. They should have called something along the sidelines where Wilson could have put it somewhere where only the receiver would have had a play or its out of bounds.

I agree with this....and am glad it did not happen. :)

Not a fan of either team so I was grateful for a good game. I was however disappointed to see the players act the way they did in the end. Watching the game with my kids I actually shut the TV off... not what sports are supposed to be about.

Hilltop, very we'll said! This is actually why I don't follow pro football much anymore. I'm so sick of the dances for making a tackle/sack, touchdown or even just a catch . These players need to act like Professionals, like they've been there before. It's time for the NFL to make a penalty! My thoughts, it's time for Baseball and the Giants to defend they're title! LETS GO GIANTS!

Don that is a great ring ring for them. I too am a Cowboys fan and thought the same thing, I could see my Cowboys doing the same thing! Now time to cheer on the Colorado Rockies.

Still in disbelief of the end of the game! I am just so disappointed that the end had to be a brawl. What a bunch of over paid egos! Act like role models and just play the game! Whatever, off my soap box now! Go Colorado Rockies!

That type of behavior is the reason I was cheering for NE on Sunday, that and because I am a Packer fan.

Glad Pats took care of business! All they do is win. You know you have one big when the majority of fans look for any trace of an unverified story to bring a team down. Brady/ Belichick are the best QB/ Coach combo in the history of the NFL and they are not even done yet. Brady brought his team back from a 10 point deficit against the alleged best defense in the league. Roll Pats

Brady is cemented as the GOAT. Seattle had no business being at the 1. That catch was lucky. This one is the one us pats fans have been searching for. Brady finally got 4 after 2 flukey plays in 07&11. The team deserved it. This team was resilient and now it's time for the NFL to clear the pats since they didn't do a thing to cheat.

I will say this, the pats have the best chance to repeat if they keep 90-95% of their free agents. No one else is on their level. Seattle has to pay Wilson and decide to keep lynch. I don't think they make the sb or NFCCG next year.
