Glad it is spring in Texas! It is 30 and snowing here in south east South Dakota... got 6 inches last week and supposed to get 4-6 out of this storm as well... apparently we don't know its spring up here yet!

It seems like it's been Spring since late Feb here. Dogwoods & redbuds have already bloomed and went, but it is supposed to dip to the mid 30s the next couple of days.

Yeah, my wife and I went down south of Dallas (Fairfield) to visit her parents in March and it was amazing weather. 70s every day and getting a sunburn out on the lake fishing for bass was definitely a good vacation for us! When will the deer start dropping fawns down there?

These pics are from an hour & a half East of there and there's a big amateur big bass tournament going on right now on Rayburn with good hourly payouts. Typically fawns start hitting the ground in late April but our rut kicked in a little early this year. I saw 4 bedded out in one of our hay fields a few nights ago and they looked to be a cpl weeks old.
