I too am anti-wolf. Wolf introduction makes no sense to me. There was good reason to have a bounty on them. I don't need the first wolf in America, ranchers don't need them, hunters don't need them, the grey wolf is not native, and I doubt the Mexican wolf is native. My grandson had one for a pet, when it got loose it killed everything it came across including neighbors pets. The man who brought it back from Alaska finally had to kill it. New Mexico has lots of wolves, everywhere I go there are tracks and last season the wolves spooked a herd of elk the grandson was stalking. We never saw them but apparently were less than 500 yards away. Their tracks in the snow told the story.

Good news! The vermin, aka the Dell Creek Pack, that has been killing the elk in Bondurant all winter has now been targeted for eradication by the USFWS. It seems that they were not only sport killing the elk but also killing cattle. The feds killed 4 of the wolves in hopes they would change their behavior but they continued killing cattle thus signing their own death warrants. They won't be missed.
