Wow, I hope I don't start seeing them in Alaska! But, with the way this year's been, anything is possible!

Its hard to believe that someone would release one that big ? No way it could survive the winter's.... I'd love to know the rest of that story

I guess that it is fortunate that we still have real winters up here, as most of those exotic critters wouldn't survive past summer. Those are one more invasive species that we don't need. Some folks sure are stupid; turning stuff loose in the wild only to wreak havok on the native wildlife. The DNR just netted 50,000 goldfish that have taken over a lake in southern MN.
