About 10k+ showed up last night- new birds. There must still be some coming but it is noticeably slower here. Will go out again tonight and see if I can take out some of these late arrivals.

Headed your direction this afternoon. The guide we're going with says there's still quite a few that are staging across Kansas.
I hope he is right! We really want to shoot more this weekend. Good luck- hope you shoot a pile of them!

Good luck to you as well! I've got the Benelli in prime working condition so should be able to lay them down if they'll cooperate for us. We'll be hunting a little ways south from you so I'll keep you posted on what we run into.
Many new geese showing up today and north winds forecasted so the birds should be here a little longer. I think you will get some shooting libi. A lot of Ross and Juvenile snows/blues should make for great hunting over decoys. Glad I was wrong!

There were some good flights headed your way this morning. Seeing birds down here but shooting has been kinda slow. At 6 for the day with a couple blues, but the day's not over yet.
Hunted solo today in eastern WY. Quite a few birds, but zero winds made for tough hunting. Bagged a mature Ross, nice eagle head and a mature snow. Missed a couple of high flyers that circled the dekes and said AMF. Supposed to be some better winds tomorrow...

Very nice! I hunted South Dakota in the Mitchell area and just missed it the week of a March 22!

We had the typical day late and a dollar short trip this spring. Lots of pressure on the juvies and it always seemed like we should've hunted the spot "yesterday". Oh well, isn't that how it goes... Until you have the dream shoot! I might not have gotten in on the real good days this spring but we've had some pretty good ones in the past!
