"Between 2008 and 2014, 40% of all murder convictions in Florida were criminal aliens. In New York it was 34% and Arizona 17.8%.
During those years, criminal aliens accounted for 38% of all murder convictions in the five states of California, Texas, Arizona, Florida and New York, while illegal aliens constitute only 5.6% of the total population in those states.
That 38% represents 7,085 murders out of the total of 18,643."

The FBI arrested an ISIS supporter in Harrisburg, PA yesterday an hour from my home. He was a nineteen year old that used twitter and lots of other ways to spread his support. Also had some weapons I believe. I caught on the news that they said he first showed up on the radar over a year ago. My question is, why did it take over a year to finally come down on this guy? It doesn't take very long for them to plan some kind of attack, and it makes you wonder what could have happened in that timeframe.

It takes that long because of our innocent until proven guilty, politically correct, everything is considered racist, worried about offending someone, profiling, invading privacy attitude these days. Law enforcement cant even do their job dealing with common criminals the way their hands are tied behind their back now. They do their job and end up on trial for murder and 1/2 the city ends up on fire. So how can you go after someone that just made a few posts on facebook about blowing our county up.

If that is the same story I just read about, he was finally set up in a sting like operation with a couple informants. I am sure if there was actionable info, they'd have moved much quicker. Odds are he danced in the gray areas of the law and the First Amendment. Just keep in mind you can't have it both ways, either we take our constitution and associated amendments seriously, even the parts we dislike, or we do not. Free speech and probable cause are among the operative issues in this case (1st & 4th Amendments). It can make for some seemingly nonsensical actions on the part of law enforcement for sure, but I'd not have it any other way. I say Kudos for nailing the nut case and staying within the law so the prosecution can put him away.
