Drew Applegate 128M, have'nt been to Oregon yet, looking forward to November!
There are some excellent blacktails there, but killing a big blacktail, even in the rut, is probably one of the toughest hunting challenges in the US. I am an Oregon resident and still trying to kill a truly great buck. Consider that you've done VERY well if you go home with a 100"+ buck. The unit can produce 130-150 class bucks and there are plenty of reports of those to make it exciting.

As for our draws:

My son drew a random draw Juniper antelope tag for the second time in the past four years.

Cow elk tags for my daughter and son.

Youth blacktail for my daughter.

Late muzzy blacktail and elk near home for me.

Hunted there with Dad in the late 60s. Cattle had been in the area so there was a clear view just about chest high under the pines. I was crouching moving slow and came face to face with a skinned out coyote hanging in the tree. Almost messed my pants. Good luck.
