So if it does pass and the federal government no longer have wolves protected what is going to happen ?? I am really curious.
They will be still protected here in Colorado even if all the states around Colorado have hunting seasons for them.

I got that from a program that I watched the other night

The vote was FOR = 1,412,507 ; AGAINST = 1,402, 820 DIFFERENCE is 9,687 votes.

The ballot language requires the P & W Department to conduct a study on how to procede. My guess is that it will be several year before any releases occur. I have also heard that there will be another petition circulated to change it back to no wolves in Colorado.

We'll see.................

I predict they will be releasing wolves in colo by 2022. likely sooner.

I cant tell the difference between a wolf and a coyote. I bet you a lot of other people cant either. I hope they put pink collars on them.

I know how you feel, Cowboy, Portland pretty much controls us.....here in Oregon
It's not just the bigger cities anymore. I live in Eagle County where Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts are located at. This area has been blue for a long time now. It is the same with Aspen to the south of me and Steamboat to the north. They are all a solid blue.

It's to the point that a country boy has nowhere to run anymore.
