Just finished a mount of my wife's buck. I have never seen a wall hanging Pronghorn Euro mount that "looked right" to me. There are some desk sitting ones that look good, but because their horns stick almost straight up, the wall ones with the half skull just look odd.
I think this one came out fantastic. Mounted on a second plate at a 45 degree angle. We glued the lower jaw back in and the added depth really made a difference. Only thing I wish I could change is cutting the base down and moving the skull back 3/4 an inch, but I did this all without power tools so that change would have been a pita. Maybe once we move and I get my shop set back up.
